iStaging was awarded the top prize of US$100,000 at the largest annual competition for startup companies in Asia. The 2015 APEC Global Challenge was sponsored by Intel and Siemens in cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration (SMEA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan.

Organized as an annual event in Taipei, the APEC Global Challenge aims to reward the most innovative startup companies in the technology field. Over 100 startups from across the globe applied to the 2015 competition, with 30 shortlisted to attend the pitch competition held at Taipei New Horizon on October 19-20. Ten prizes were awarded across four categories, namely Interactive Learning, Immersive Collaboration, Smart Mobility, and the Smart Home.

The first prize in the 2015 challenge, sponsored by Intel, included US$100,000 in cash, a ticket to attend the Intel Challenge Up! Summit Europe, one Laptop featuring an Intel RealSense™ 3D Camera, and business match-making opportunities.
